how to delete commentaire option in a page
Right now there is no control for that, but we are considering adding that option in the future.
First of all many thanks for you gorgeous Travel Blogger theme, I’ve definitely found best answer to my needs.
The only small problems I find is I’m not able to set the theme to show correctly the post date and that seems not working with q Translate.
Thanks again and hope you could help me about solving the small problems I wrote you.
Augusto
Sorry it’s not working for you, it seems like the issue is more with the plugin. I would ask the creators of q Translate as they will be more familiar with the issue.

Thanks for the great theme. It really works smoothly with WordPress.
One question: I just added the google maps widget to the blog page (http://www.activetraveltours.com/?page_id=44) of my site. It comes up with a message, “Sorry, no location found.” I thought a map would be placed in the sidebar, and I could add locations to the map. I’m not quite sure how I’m supposed to a.) get a map to show up and b.) add locations to that map.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
The address is entered on the Edit Post page, on the right. By entering an address here, you can load a map within the content using the shortcode [tb_google_map], or simply enabling the map widget in one of the sidebars.
I was thrilled to find this theme. It’s perfect for what I’m doing and absolutely eye catching. I love how easy it is too.
It looks like I need to adjust the width of my sidebar (make it smaller) and increase the width of the body for the content. (Right now you can see what I mean at http://www.onthegofoodstorage.com)
Where can I go to do that? I’m thinking the editor somewhere? Or do I have to log into my FTP files and do it somewhere there?
Thanks again for the beautiful theme.
Angie
Angie,
You can change the width of the sidebars by doing the following:
We use a widely known CSS grid that has tons of documentation to help you. Below is the link:
http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/grids/
You would need to add a few lines of CSS to change the sidebars, depending on which side you set the sidebar, would either need to add .yui-t6 .yui-b or .yui-t3 .yui-b.
You will also need to change the main content div which would be either
.yui-t6 #yui-main .yui-b or .yui-t3 #yui-main .yui-b
So those selectors should be enough to change the widths.
Hope this helps!

Hi guys,
I am working on a new project using your theme. I love it and would like to support you, but at the same time want to keep my website ‘clean’ meaning no sponsored links. Can I make you a paypal donation?
Cheers,
Marnix
Hey Marnix,
We don’t actually take paypal donations, but it would be great if you could just spread the word about our theme to your friends.
Thanks for the support!

COMMENTS I would like to remove the page headings and entries, I am interested in carefully removing [0] comments. How do I?
Gucio,
Right now we are having some bugs with the header, but here is the instructions page for tweaking header details: http://www.freetravelwebsitetemplates.com/header-and-background/ Under Appearance > Theme Layout and Skins there is an option to display or hide comments on the homepage or blogroll which you can configure.

The Travel Blogger theme is simply wonderful. I does everything we want, and we’ll shortly be giving it a real domain name. We’ve directed one question to the folks at support, and are looking forward to the answer.
Thanks so much for your contribution to our website. If WordPress wasn’t printed on it, you would never know that it uses such a humble platform. It oozes quality.
Regards from Colorado!
Mark
Thanks for the feedback Mark, we’ll keep an eye out for the support question.
I tried using the support form, but got no answer. I do think you have a very nice template, well designed and flexible, but one problem. Site Title. How do you keep the site title from displaying in the header area? Even with the Display Header Text box unchecked, it still is shown. I can remove all header text and then nothing of course, but that also means nothing displayed in the browser tabs either.
Jerry,
We have recently come out with an update to our theme and this bug that was in the previous theme version is now fixed. If you update to the latest version of the theme, you will not have problems with this anymore. I am so sorry about the delay in getting back to you, we have been very backed up.

Hi, I love the template but need some help. Is there a subscription page that I may be missing or I deleted by accident? I’m getting good daily visits for a start up, but can’t find any subscribers. It could be content, but with the decent numbers of visits, I wonder if I might have deleted a subscribe page. Any help would be great.
Kevin
Kevin,
The theme itself doesn’t actually keep track of subscribers to your site… we aren’t a connected social network. One thing I can recommend to you, so you can keep track of who is following your site though, is creating a facebook page for your site, and also a twitter account. There are some wordpress social media plugins that you can install to your site which will auto post updates, like new content from your site to your facebook page or twitter account. We do offer a social media settings area under this theme, and once you create those accounts, you can also feature them on your homepage by configuring the social media theme settings page, which will allow people to visit your facebook or twitter account for your site. You can even link up to your personal accounts too. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Looking at your site again, I am seeing an option to subscribe to your site and receive a newsletter of sorts. Is this a separate plugin that you installed to your site to manage subscriptions? If so, you can visit WordPress.com and go to the plugins page, search for the specific plugin, and then once you find it, there is usually a support section in which you can post questions that you have. This wouldn’t be related to our theme, but you can get help from the creators of the plugin that you installed. Sorry, I didn’t see that before. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Hello
First great job on the theme, I love it! Need help here, can anyone help me with the theme’s posts layout. The first 3 or 4 posts layout on my site are identical, then the others are side by side tightening the text around the pics. Is there anyway to set them to look like the first 3 posts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Monique
Monique,
Are you still running into this issue?

Hi, I’m really enjoying working with your template, but can’t seem to embed a Google Map into a page or post. Is it because of the shortcode you have at work?
Whenever I copy/paste the embed code from Google maps, I simply get html as text in the page. Which completely contradicts what they’re saying on this help page.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/
Is there something I’m doing wrong with this template?
Doug, are you using the same Google Map Widget plugin that comes default with the theme? Sometimes other third party plugins are not compatible with all themes. One other thing would be updating to the most recently released version of our theme too, as we were having some Google Map plugin bugs that were fixed with the latest update.
Thank you guys for the great job! I love this template, I have customized it and its incredible
No problem! Hope that you enjoy the theme, and feel free to contact us if you need anything!

Saleem,
If you go under the theme options, there is a section in which you can choose to display the sponsor links or not. This will get rid of the tect at the bottom. If you need anything else, please feel free to contact us.
