There are certain basic plugins that we recommend you install. These are helpful features that will extend the functionality of your site. We also recommend you explore fully the many hundreds of plugins that WordPress users have written – there is tons of great stuff out there that can really make your site quite functional.

  • Use “Fast Secure Contact Form” for an easy to configure contact form
  • Use “Really Simple Captcha” in conjunction with Fast Secure Contact Form to help cut down on spam
• Social Media Links (i.e. share and follow on Facebook and Twitter)
  • Use “AddToAny” for giving your users the ability to share a post.
  • Use “Follow Me” to give users a link to follow your Facebook and Twitter feeds.
  • Use “WordTwit” to link up your Twitter feed to a widget in your sidebar.
• Google AdSense & Analytics
  • Use “Google Integration Toolkit” to help you configure your site to use Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools and Google AdSense
• SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • Use “Google XML Sitemaps” to help you publish your site to all major search engines
  • Use “WP No Category Base” to make more optimized SEO friendly URLs
  • Use “HeadSpace2″ to help optimize your page content
