Our themes offer complete control over the colors and fonts used in almost every aspect of the theme’s presentation.
Theme Colors
The default theme skins use their own preset colors, and these color sets do not show on the Custom Colors tab. Once you change any of the custom colors and save them, all the colors set in the Custom Colors tab will be applied and overwrite any default theme skin colors.
While changing the custom colors will override any colors and fonts from any default theme skin you have selected, the background, header and footer images will remain unchanged unless you update them separately.
Theme Fonts
You can set the font used as the base font for all elements of the site. You can also change the font size of specific elements in the layout.
The Site Font Style fonts include standard “web-safe” fonts (marked by an asterisk in the drop down), as well as fonts from the Google Font Directory. The “web-safe” fonts are guaranteed to display pretty much the same for all users (Mac or PC). Many of the Google Font Directory fonts will display for most people, but are not guaranteed to do so. A user of your site either needs to have these fonts on their machine (PC or Mac) or the theme will attempt to pull the fonts from the Google Font Directory. If a user’s machine cannot access the Google Font Directory for some reason the theme will typically default to one of the “web-safe” fonts.

The fonts that I typically use are not included. Is there a way for me to add more fonts to the list? I’m comfortable enough with CSS editing to do it that way if you could point out where and how.
Thank you. This is a GREAT theme!!!!
Hi D Morgan,
In the style.css file, you can edit the main body style, which is on line 36. There you can change the font-family to the font of your choice. That should have the effect your are looking for.
Hope this helps.
All the best,
Thanks!
Welcome
I cant edit colors and sizes for h tags in CSS file. The standard colors settings seem to always override it. Please help.
Angela,
I will have one of developers get back to you about this. Thanks for contacting us.

Hello would you mind letting me know which web
host you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog
in 3 completely different browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most.
Can you suggest a good web hosting provider at a reasonable price?
Many thanks, I appreciate it!
I personally have used http://www.bluehost.com/ and they have worked well. They are moderately priced, but have a good support center too if you are having any trouble.

ATG,
Just wanted to let you know that we will be having one of our developers look into this bug, sorry for the temporary inconvenience! Thank you for contacting us, and hopefully we can get it fixed soon!

I seem to be able to change font colors and sizes with no trouble, but the font faimly (Candara) is persistent – I tried to set to Arial and Georga and when I click “Save” it returns to Candara and the site font is unchanged…
Hi Ted,
I just replied to your email, but I wanted to let you know that I have contacted one of our developers and they will be looking into this bug. Sorry about the inconvenience. Thanks for letting us know!

Turns out there may be an easy fix for this that you would have to do here is how:
Go under Appearance > Custom Colors and Fonts
At the bottom of the page there is a button that says “Reset to Defaults” if you press that, then this should fix the bug.
** You will loose your custom colors that you have set though, so be sure to take note of what you had selected** but this should fix the problem with the font not staying to what you have changed it to. Please let us know if this doesn’t work. Hope that this helps!

We tried this but it did not work. We will await the fix or make the changes in css.
I changed the font-family in the style.css file and the site still shows up with Candara. Don’t know where else I can look. I changed it to Times Roman, but the site continues to display Candara. No idea where it is getting the settings for the font. Hope the font bug is fixed soon.
We are having some issues with the theme that popped up with the latest update of WordPress, fixes for it will be coming out in a week or so, so be sure to check back.

In the mean time, I fixed some validation issues. Some were easy (missing tag, missing type=”text/javascript”) the others had to do with the “Social Widgets” not validating. I wrapped them in document.write statements and now it passes the W3C Validator.
Ted,
I am glad you were able to fix some of the issues, sorry for the inconvenience that some of the bugs have caused, they’ll be fixed soon. Thanks for the additional info too and feedback. Please feel free to contact us again if you notice anything else.
