Sample Travel Event: Visiting Greece’s Most Popular Beaches

(Note: This is a fictional sample post demonstrating how users of our themes might use a Travel Events category)

On the 10th I will be visiting Corfu Island, one of Greece’s most popular resorts. It is well known as the home of the Greece’s best beaches. Check online on the 11th for my blog post!

Can I get rid of this “Leave a Reply” section on my web pages and only enable it to work on the blog page of my site?

You can disable/enable comments on whichever pages/posts you want. Go to the Edit Page screen and find the drop down on the top right where it says “Screen Options.” Click on that and make sure “Discussion” is checked, then look below the body of the page and there will be a check box for allowing comments. Uncheck the box to disable comments on that particular page.

Is there any way to have multiple google maps locations show up in a post? For instance, if I wanted to do a post on “Things to do in North Carolina”, can I have a number of locations show up on the map?

This isn’t a feature that we have in this widget at this time. I have shared this with our developers though, and it may be added in the future. Thank you for you feedback, we really appreciate it.

    a. Is there a way of removing the 1 pixel border I see around all of my “featured” images?
    b. How do you get the title of “admin” in the post meta? My name appears, not my nickname. Is it as simple as changing your name?

If you go under your general user settings, you can change your name and this will fix this issue. As for the pixel issue, you would need to customize the theme coding.
