On my third day in Greece, I am headed 48 miles Southwest of Athens and into Corinth. Corinth is a coastal town that was rebuilt in the late 1800′s after an earthquake destroyed it completely. It was rebuilt again in 1928 after another earthquake, and once more in 1933 after a great fire burned the city.
This place has certainly seen its share of hard times, but amongst its surroundings are ancient ruins of the old city, some of the most famous being the Acrocorinth, which was built on a hillside in medieval times. This city is not only a beautiful coastal town, but it has a rich history. I am excited to see this place!
